Hello Theme #29

Writing has never been simple for me. I’m dyslexic, which means words don’t always come easily and the process can sometimes feel slow and frustrating. But dyslexia has also given me something I wouldn’t trade

a mind that sees stories in pictures, emotions, and moments long before they ever become sentences on a page.

For me, writing is both a gift and a challenge. The ideas come alive quickly, but shaping them into words takes patience and determination. In many ways, that struggle is part of the journey, and it makes every finished story feel even more meaningful.

At the centre of everything I do is my family. My partner Cora and our daughter Piper inspire me every day. They remind me why imagination matters and why stories are worth telling, even when the path to writing them isn’t always easy.

If my work proves anything, it’s that creativity doesn’t have to follow perfect rules. Sometimes the most interesting stories come from minds that work a little differently.
